We Believe
We believe that there is one true God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that all people are born in sin (original sin) and that we sin against God everyday and are in need of His forgiveness.
We believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and that He is true God and true man and that He died on the cross to atone for the sins of all mankind. But the Good News is that Jesus rose from the dead on the third day and opened the gates of heaven to all who believe in Him.
We believe that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ even though there is no merit or worthiness in us. So that we might believe in Jesus, God has blessed us with the inheritance of His sacred ministry, which is preaching of Christ crucified and administering the sacraments of Holy Baptism and the Lord's Supper as Christ instituted them. Through these means of grace, God bestows faith, the forgiveness of sins and strengthens that faith He has given us.
