Christmas Celebrations
CHRISTMAS DINNER for the congregation will be hosted Wednesday, December 22 at 6 pm. The Fellowship Committee will provide the meal. You can also bring a side dish to share. Please RSVP at the Church Office by December 20th.
December 19 @ 10 am our Sunday School children will present their Christmas Celebration: "The Incredible Christmas Search"
December 19 @ 3 pm is the Blue Christmas service for those grieving a loss in their life.
December 24 @ 6 pm is our Family Christmas that focuses on the birth of Jesus for children and their families. This memorable Christmas celebration is for all ages to experience. Holy Communion will be celebrated.
December 24 @ 8 & 10 pm will be our Ceremony of Lessons and Carols featuring special music by our choir and the opportunity to sing some favorite Christmas Carols. Holy Communion and candlelight will be offered at both the services.
December 25 @ 10 am is our Christmas Festival service with Holy Communion. Come on Christmas Day and celebrate the joy of God's salvation Gift in Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord.
ONE SERVICE ON DECEMBER 26th! Please take note that on December 26th there will be only ONE SERVICE at 10 am. There will not be an 8:30 or 11: 15am service that day. This day is known as Second Christmas Day and we will celebrate how God is good at all times and in all ways, especially in sending His Son into the world.

It is with great joy that we announce that the Reverend Vernon E. Oestmann has accepted the sacred call to be the Senior Pastor at Bethany.
The Rev. Vernon Oestmann is a 1974 graduate of Concordia Theological Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri. He was ordained on October 6, 1974. He has served as pastor at St. John’s, Hannibal, MO; Trinity, Garden City, KS; and most recently as associate pastor at Trinity, Mission, KS. Pastor Oestmann and his wife Debby have four children: Andrew, David, Philip and Timothy.
